5 days from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate

As an example, you go to a family of Nomads, therefore knowing how people live the traditional lifestyle in this deserted landscape. You also visit the small village of Khamlia, a small hamlet favored by its vibrant Gnaoua music where you get to listen to an actual live performance.

Then you go on a mini tour to the Merzouga Lake, a temporary water body where flamingos, depending on the time of the year, may be observed. The grandeur of the massive Dunes of Erg Chebbi can easily be seen in this particular perspective. Day 5: Merzouga Erfoud Midelt Cedar Forest Ifrane Fes

We have breakfast and send the peaceful desert behind, driving off on time for Fes, which is your last stop. Halfway, we visit the city of Erfoud, where there is a craftwork based on fossils with its own peculiarities. You can even visit a workshop of fossil works and see the way they make their fantastic products.

The adventure is continued up the grand Ziz Valley with its views of the fertile palm groves and lunching in Midelt. Then we proceed to the Middle Atlas Mountains where there are some easily noticed Barbary Macaques residing in the lovely Cedar Forest. Our last destination is the sanitary alpine resort of Ifrane (often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco), then we finally reach Fes in the later afternoon.
